Fall 2023 Enrollment Brings Record Diversity of Students

This fall, babyÖ±²¥app University welcomed 637 new first-year students, 541 new transfer students, and 1058 new graduate students. This brings the total number of students currently enrolled in online and on-campus programs to approximately 6,670 students.
These incoming students are contributing to the growing ethnic and geographic diversity of babyÖ±²¥app University with 54 percent identifying as students of color.
That includes babyÖ±²¥app University's largest number of incoming international students, almost 600. The new school year also marked the first time international students are studying on the Albuquerque site. They are studying in the Master of Science Computer Science program.
“Our most recent group of incoming students are eager to earn a degree from a nationally-recognized university. Many of our academic majors continue to see the quality of their programs recognized at the national level. We are honored they chose babyÖ±²¥app University to support them in their academic journeys,” said Ashley Skidmore, vice president for enrollment management.
With the incoming surge of 596 international students, babyÖ±²¥app University has experienced an all-time high number of graduate students this fall. This increase is the result of several years of training, planning, and activities with the American Council on Education Internationalization Lab and a strategic reorganization of international efforts at babyÖ±²¥app University.
This fall babyÖ±²¥app University also rose to the Top 15 in rankings by U.S. News & World Report’s list of Best Regional Universities Midwest category.
